Hi, I'm Ella — and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a mom of two living in Budapest, juggling work, family, and the everyday chaos that comes with both. A few years ago, I hit a wall. I was exhausted, out of shape, and somehow always running on empty. Every fitness program I found online assumed I had two free hours a day, a home gym, and a personal chef. That wasn't my life. I bet it isn't yours either.

So I started building something simpler — small routines, short workouts, real food, and a mindset that didn't make me feel guilty every time I missed a day. Slowly, things changed. Not in a dramatic transformation way, but in the quiet ways that matter: more energy, more patience with my kids, a body that felt like mine again.

This blog is where I share what's actually working — for me, and hopefully for you.

Why I started Health & Fitness with Ella

I started this blog because I was tired of fitness content that talked at busy moms instead of with them. I wanted a place that felt honest. Where a four-minute workout counts. Where a hard week doesn't undo you. Where mindset matters as much as movement.

More than anything, I wanted to create a small corner of the internet where you can come for real, doable tips and leave feeling a little lighter — not a little worse about yourself.

A few honest things about me

I'm not a certified personal trainer or a registered dietitian. I'm a regular mom who has spent years figuring out what works in real life. Everything I share here is based on my own experience, plenty of reading, and a lot of trial and error.
